Product Details
Petiquette is a fresh, new kind of game played with cards with combinations of three animals, three hats, and five numbers. Players look at a lineup of five randomly placed cards and try to find some logic or pattern within them. Then they choose which card would most properly fit into that pattern. For example, if the sequence is “red, red, yellow...” you might feel that yellow should come next. If it’s “dog, cat, bird…” then maybe dog again feels right. But there’s no single correct answer. If someone else chooses the same card as you, you'll earn points.
“This sequence feels just right!” “I bet they’re thinking this way...” Reflecting on your own thoughts while thinking about eachothers’ sense of what's "proper" creates an experience that feels almost artistic. It’s the kind of game where you might lose track of time without even realizing it.
The game includes both competitive and cooperative rules. In the cooperative rules, one player secretly chooses the card they think fits best, and everyone else tries to guess what they picked. “This person probably thinks this kind of pattern is right...” “But is that really what they’d pick?” “No, wait, it has to be this one.” Whether you’re playing with close friends or total strangers, you’ll likely discover unexpected perspectives and hidden sides of the people around you.
